| I grew vegetable plants from seed. The plant came just right till it grow almost 2 inch tall. After that I see the leaf is eaten. The plant died after a few days. Why is this happening? |
| There are a number of pests outdoors that find new seedlings tasty. Birds, slugs, snails and cutworms all find new little plants irresistable. Next time you plant something small like your vegetable seedlings, protect them with a floating row cover until they get established. This will keep the bugs and the birds away from your new plants.
