Is it to late to trim my crape myrtle?

You can still prune if limited to dead wood, damaged or rubbing branches. Crepe myrtles need spring pruning to remove any winter killed branches (these would not bloom in any case), and certainly any damaged or badly rubbing branches should be tidied up as they occur. The practice of hard pruning every year is no longer recommended.
