some of my green bean plants the leaves turn yellow then brown then fall off and the plant dies. what do i need to do? |
Wayne, I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up! That may be due to dry soil or soggy wet soil, both of which kill roots and result in problems visible in the above ground parts of the plant. Avoid excessive fertilizing which can burn roots. Maintain moderate moisture levels and in time the plant should stabilize and resume normal growth. Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon! |
