When I plant petunias, they grow and flourish for a month then for some reason start to wither up and die. What is the best way to grow petunias and keep them blooming all summer long? |
Petunias are relatively hardy plants so I'm not sure what to advise. They grow best in full sunshine, in average soil. If your plants are wilting, they may not be getting the moisture they require. Try amending the soil with organic matter prior to planting and watering deeply every 2-3 days. When the flowers are spent, pinch or cut them off, along with some stem. This will encourage branching and additional flowers. Hope amending the soil helps you grow beautiful petunias! |
