My lawn/shrub guy said I need to spray fungicide/
insecticide on the shrubs. I particularly have a gardenia
with black leaves and white flys.

What should I use?? I have the Bayer 3 way rose and flower
stuff AND some orthenex.

Is one of these okay? or is there something else

Thanks.

Elaine,

I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up!

Those should do okay for whiteflies. You may need to repeat sprays once or twice a couple of weeks apart. Another spray to try that is natural in origin would be products containing neem or Azadirachtin. Whichever spray you choose direct the spray upward from beneath the plants to contact the undersides of all the leaves.

Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon!
