The Q&A Archives: Tulips

Question: How should I protect my tulips bulbs- this was
the first year I planted and they did beautiful.
What should I do, so they come back next year?

Answer: Tulips need to grow their foliage and then the foliage needs to turn brown dry out and wither up naturally before you remove it. This process replenshes the bulbs. The most important thing you can do is leave the foliage in place.
