I have a small balcony that gets full sun. I'd like to grow some vegetables and purhaps berries. Can you advise me what containers I will need and which plants will do best in them?

Thank you

In full sun you could grow a wide range of vegetables. In containers, you might try carrots, cherry tomatoes and peppers; herbs such as basil, parsley, chives, oregano and thyme; and in spring and fall add cool season veggies such as leaf lettuces and spinach. You might also grow a bush form of cucumber or train a (small) melon vine on a trellis. Many seed companies have a selection of varieties they consider to be especially good for containers, so look for those when you buy your seeds.
