When it rains water runs off drowns out all the planings, trees are required in that area.

Some trees for a wet area might include river birch (Betula nigra), red maple (Acer rubrum) and willows (Salix). These are all very large trees at maturity, so you need to make sure there is adequate space for them to grow and mature.
