I just moved into a ground floor condo that has a nice little yard. Right now it has regular grass w/ fox tails growing in it. I would like to plant this really dark grass that was used at an apartment building I once lived at. Is there such a thing as Black Grass. It was really dark, practically black. Any help would be great. I don't know much about gardening, but am eager to learn.

Bluegrass is a cool season grass with a coarse texture and wide blades. It is spread by tillers and seed. Its rich, dark green color and luxuriant foliage make it a prized grass among homeowners. It tolerates both high maintenance and low maintenance options, and its traffic tolerance is excellent. Both 'Blackberry' and 'Bewitched' are the darker versions of this popular grass.

Best wishes with your new lawn!
