| I recently asked about placing a pot in the ground to plant purple fountain grass. Do I need to put holes in the bottom for drainage or should I leave it solid? Thanks for all your help. |
| Any time you grow a plant in a container, the container must have drainage holes in the bottom to allow excess water to escape. Without that, the roots will rot. Good luck with your project! |
