Full sun is direct sun all day long or for a minimum of six hours including the hour of noontime. When you talk about part sun or part shade, it can be a little confusing. Morning sun only or bright dappled light would be considered part shade or part sun. This is suited to shade lovers that tolerate part sun. Afternoon only sun is so intense that you need to use plants that can handle full sun but also tolerate part sun. I hope this helps.
