transplanting quakies - Knowledgebase Question

I am having a hrad time transplanting qulies from my moms house to mine. Are there any tricks or fertilizers that will help me out? Last year I transplanted 4 of them and they died. I just transplanted 6 more and they dont look like they are going to make it.... thank you

I'm not familiar with a plant called quakies so I'm not sure I can be of any help. However, the general rule is: if these are seedlings from a tree, the root system will be quite deep and you therefore need to dig a deeper hole than you might first think in order to get the entire root system out. A second suggestion is to protect the newly transplanted plants from direct sunshine for a week or two until they settle into their new homes. A final suggestion is to keep the transplants well watered so the soil doesn't dry out.
