I planted by small ravenea majesty palm a couple of weeks ago and the tips of the leaves have turned yellow. Is it dying, or in shock?

Your ravenea majesty palm is probably going through a little transplant shock. Once the roots become established in their new home, they should perk right up. These plants need lots of water so make sure you water deeply once a week. Don't feed your palm until you see new growth.

Best wishes with your new palm!
