One of my medium size green tomatoes has a hole in it. It looks like something chewed it. The rest of the plant looks healthy. What did it and how do I stop this?

Sandy,

I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up!

Your tomato has a tomato fruit worm in it. These are controlled by spraying with a product containing B.t. every week or so as long as the problem persists.

Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon!
