| Since you are new to gardening and have had some problems so far, I would suggest you take a look at a book or two about gardening to review some of the basics. The Dummies series includes numerous books on gardening and landscaping that are very good, providing practical information you can use right away. They are widely available in bookstores and libraries. You might also want to check with your local county extension and public gardens and see if they offer any information or classes for local gardeners.
