I have several yucca plants that I have been trying to get rid of. As soon as they are dug up, they grow back. What can I use to get rid of them. (I'd burn the roots, but my muncipality has a burn ban)

Painting the cut ends with an herbicide containing glyphosate may help, although these plants have very deep roots and are very persistent. They will regrow from any bit of root left in the ground. Be vigilant and do not allow them to grow above ground as the foliage will send additional energy to the roots. Good luck with your project!
