Cheryl,

I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up!

Ferns need bright indirect light and they also want to be kept moist but in a well drained growing mix. Soggy conditions, dry conditions, direct sun or deep shade are all problematic for ferns. Fertilize your fern every month or so with a soluble plant food such as Miracle Gro at the medium label rate.

Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon!
