| I recieved about 50-100 tulips that have already bloomed, and the complete plant is dug up. I was told if I re-plant them they would bloom again next year. I also was told to plant the whole thing and just cut off the top where the bloom was. Or shall I wait until fall to plant them? |
| I would replant them now, remove the spent flowering stem and leave the foliage to wither and die off on its own. The foliage provides energy for the bulbs so they can develop next year's flower. If some of them don't bloom next spring, they should the following spring. Best wishes with your new tulips! |
