The Q&A Archives: cape honeysuckle

Question: Also can I start the cape honeysuckle seedlings with out taking off the lite white film that are on them?

Answer: San,

You can start cape honeysuckle from those seeds but it may not be like the parent. I suggest instead you try rooting the cuttings or try doing a tip layer. The following web site shows how. With a tip layer you'll have a larger plant much faster and it will bloom much sooner.

Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon!
