my hanging basket of double/rose impatiens have become leggy, and as soon as they bloom the flower drops off, today there were about eight new flowers dropped off on the porch. please advise. thank you mona long |
Mona, I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up! Try to keep their soil moist but not too wet. It is sometimes best to prune the plant back by pinching them off at about 6 inches and then they'll branch out more as they regrow and resume blooming. Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon! |
