While there are some home remedies for getting rid of moles, such as installing pinwheels or placing chewing gum in the runs, they are not generally effective.

Moles eat insects and do not damage plants. They are in fact helpful in some ways so it is recommended to leave them alone unless their activities are causing a dangerous situation for people. If that is the case, a trap is the most effective solution although difficult to carry out.
