Aloe vera is an easy-care plant. They like bright light or some morning sunshine. Because they are a succulent they take regular water, but let the soil dry out between waterings. They don't like wet roots. In winter, when they are dormant, you can water about once a month. Be sure to water slowly and deeply to moisten the entire root system. They prefer well-drained soil, and regular potting soil is perfect if your plant is in a pot. Good luck with your aloe!
