The Q&A Archives: Storing Bulbs in FLorida

Question: I live down in South Florida. How do I store bulbs during the summer months of heat? When I dig them up and allow them to dry, do I keep them in the fridge in a brown paper bag?

Thank you for your assistance.

Answer: Eric,

I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up!

Keep your bulbs in a cool dry place such as indoors in an air conditioned home.

Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon!
