The Q&A Archives: vincas

Question: My vinca plants are turning yellow and have black spots on them. Seems like every year I plant them.. they turn yellow... we put some garden lyme on them and they green up ok.. but it doesn't seem to be working. Help....

Answer: Vinca minor or periwinkle is potentially affected by some foliage diseases. I would recommend you work with your local county extension to obtain a diagnosis of the problem and based on knowing that, decide how to proceed. If a chemical control is needed they will have the most up to date information on what to use and how/when is best to apply it for maximum results. I'm sorry I can't be more specific for you long distance.
