The Q&A Archives: magnolia tree

Question: Why is my magnolia tree's leaves turning brown and dropping off?

Answer: The southern magnolia (Magnolia grandiflora) normally drops some of its older foliage in June. If the tree is losing new foliage, then you may want to consult with your local county extension to try to determine what is happening to it.
