The Q&A Archives: orange and cumquart tree

Question: First question...what is a way to treat worms on the trees with out pesticide?

second questions...can any thing be put out around the trees that will keep neigbor cats from
messing up the bottom of the trees?

Answer: Betty,

I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up!

You can control caterpillars with the natural or organic spray ingredient B.t.

Cats will leave the base of the tree alone if you wrap a loose cylinder of wire mesh around it.

Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon!
