My rhodendrons have brown dried up leaves and last year some were covered with a white type fungus or something. I tried to remove the damaged leaves and raked up the fallen leaves. The plants again this year are not doing well.

Please advise, thank you. Robbie

Powdery mildew can have an adverse affect on rhododendrons. Some varieties are damaged much worse than others and can be defoliated by the disease. Powdery mildew can be controlled with Benlate or Bayleton. Apply according to label directions.

Best wishes with your rhodies!
