The Q&A Archives: Water Plants

Question: I have a fountain with water plants, new this year
in the winter I will store the fountain, but what do I do with the plants, can they be brought in the winter or do I just get new ones every year?

Answer: The easiest solution is to simply purchase new plants every year. You can try to overwinter them if you have an aquarium. Leave the light on 16 hours a day and try to keep the water cool (room temperature is fine).

Best wishes with your garden!
