| Hi I have a moderately decent lawn. There are a lot of brown and even some bare spots. This is, inpart, that the sprinkler system is not sufficient to cover all areas and my lawn mower person refuses to raise the blades so as not to cut the grass right to the dirt. I have redone the sprinkler system for full coverage and changed mowers. The light ranges from full sun to shade with a short period of dappled sun. I am going to be selling the house and want the lawn to look really good in about 2 months. That's all the time I have. What can I do? I don't care if it doesn't last for a long time or even if I have to repeat treatment. Thanks Jackie on Jekyll Island, GA |
| Jackie, I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up! The grasses that can be planted from seed now are centipede and bermuda. If you choose bermuda go with a semi dwarf variety such as Sahara.
