The Q&A Archives: Daylilies

Question: How much sun can daylilies get by with?

Answer: Your daylilies will appreciate some protection from hot afternoon sunshine so if you can plant them beneath shade trees or where a building will provide some afternoon shade, they should thrive. Give them from 4-6 hours of sun each day.

Best wishes with your daylilies!
