| You didn't identify the plant so I can't make specific suggestions, only general ones. In plants that are sensitive to chemicals such as chlorine or fluoride, the brown leaf tips can be an indication of sensitivity. Sometimes the ends burn because of overfertilization or from lack of water; sometimes even too much water can result in browning leaf tips.
