Your star jasmine will grow in partial sun to bright shade. Find an appropriate place in your garden and dig a hole the same depth as the nursery pot, but a little wider. Roughen up the soil on the sides and bottom of the hole, then unpot your jasmine and loosen the rootmass a little. Set the plant in the hole and fill in around the sides with soil, then gently tamp it down. Water your new plant to help settle the soil, then plan to water deeply once each week to help it establish its root system. Wait until next spring to fertilize your new plant.

Enjoy your new star jasmine!
