what is the difference between a mini weeping cherry and a regular weeping - Knowledgebase Question

We bought a weeping cherry tree and concerned it might get to big.

In general, a standard weeping cherry (Prunus subhirtella "Pendula") will reach a mature size of 15-25' h x 15-25" w

A dwarf weeping cherry (one that is grafted onto a dwarfing rootstock will reach a mature size of 8-12' h x 8-12" w

If size is a concern, the dwarf tree is your better choice.
