| Based on your description, they might be dead. You can check to see if they are still alive. Live wood is supple or flexible and has green just inside the bark. Dead wood will be brittle and snap in your fingers, it will usually be off color gray or brown, and has no green inside the bark. Begin at the branch tips and trim off any dead wood, working your way down the plant. They will regrow from live wood. |
