The Q&A Archives: satomi kousa

Question: Hi! I've just planted a satomi kousa dogwood that has already flowered. Do I need to

Answer: You don't need to deadhead the flowers from your dogwood. The petals will fall off and leave a roundish center which will change in color and eventually fall off the plant all by itself.

Enjoy your new dogwood! Aren't the flowers gorgeous?
