I am renting and I want to put an inexpensive fence around my garden to keep the kids out. Please help me with finding the easiest, cheapest way to fence as I am going to do the job myself.

There are many different ways to create a fence. To some extent this depends on what kind of "look" you want and whether the fence needs to be a security system or just a visual reminder that the area is off limits. For instance, you might grow sunflowers along the perimeter to create a living fence. You could recycle wooden pallets into a picket fence. You could use one by one inch tomato stakes to support a rope fence. You could use metal tee stakes or iron rebar to support wire mesh such as chicken wire or "rabbit wire" garden fencing (sold by the roll.) Or you could install sections of prefabricated picket fence. I hope this gives you some ideas.
