The Q&A Archives: Watering

Question: We have just put in a water softner and I was wondering can my water still be used to water the garden?

Answer: Please do not use the softened water on garden plants or house plants, it will damage them and can be fatal. The system should have a bypass on it so you can use untreated water outside (for landscape or to wash your car, for example.)
