The Q&A Archives: Caterpillars

Question: How to get rid of worms eating holes in the leaves?

Answer: Caterpillars are the larvae of moths and butterflies so you may want to have them identified before killing them off. If you still want to eliminate them, use the botanical insecticide called Bt. (Bacillus thuringiensis). This is a bacterium that acts as a stomach poison and kills caterpillars. Apply according to label directions.
