forsythia - Knowledgebase Question

I put a bag a round a branch of the shrub and I think that that is called air layering. Then I did the normal layering to it too. How long does it take for the roots to grow and does those methods work on the forsythia.

It usually takes the entire summer for either type layering to work. Wait at least 6-8 weeks and then check for roots.
