The Q&A Archives: apples

Question: My apple tree has apples but they shrivle up whats wrong and what should I do?

Answer: Apples that begin to form and then shrivel up are those that are not pollinated. This can be due to lack of insect activity, lots of rain when the flowers are open which will wash away the pollen, or lack of a second apple tree for cross-pollination. Best wishes with your apple tree!
