| Cilantro is a fast growing annual that also prefers cool weather. When the weather turns hot it bolts and goes to seed. You can try seeding a new batch every few weeks for successive harvests from spring through fall. Or, plan on growing it primarily in the spring and again in the fall when the weather is cooler. Some gardeners will also seed it fairly thick and then cut it repeatedly while it is still small, treating it like a "cut and come again" crop. This will give you several cuttings so you can harvest over a longer period. |
