I have 2 small hybrid poplar trees that neeed to be relocated. When is the best time of the year to transplant these trees.

The best times would be in fall or late winter/early spring. Try to take as much of the root system as you possibly can and replant immediately. Keep the soil evenly moist like a wrung out sponge while they re-establish. Good luck with the move!
