The Q&A Archives: Transplanting

Question: I have 2 small hybrid poplar trees that neeed to be relocated. When is the best time of the year to transplant these trees.

Answer: The best times would be in fall or late winter/early spring. Try to take as much of the root system as you possibly can and replant immediately. Keep the soil evenly moist like a wrung out sponge while they re-establish. Good luck with the move!
