I have planted miniature pine on the border of my pond, but three are turning brown. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

The browning could be a sign of transplant stress, or a sign of under- or over-watering. If you planted near a pond, how wet is the soil? Overly saturated soils will be deprived of oxygen, something the tree roots will need. If the site is soggy, you'll want to move the trees to a drier place. If the soil drains well and you water deeply once a week, the browning is probably just a sign of transplant stress and the trees will outgrow it in time.

Good luck with your pine!
