| Some annuals that do well in shade include impatiens and caladiums. You could also use English ivy for another texture and to add a trailing element. Make sure the window box has drainage holes in the bottom and use a good quality potting mix formulated for container plants. Water as needed to keep the soil evenly moist like a wrung out sponge, not sopping wet and not dried out. |
