Do I trim off the dead flowers on my gardinia bus and how do I cut them off? Is there a certain way or method to trimming them? |
Lisa, I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up! You can snip off the spent blooms on your gardenia if you want. It isn't required for the plant's sake but it does help keep it attractive. Just use pruners or heavy duty scissors to snip the stem off below the bloom. Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon! |
