Lawn Length during Drought Period - Knowledgebase Question

During summer, especially when we are in a drought, is it better to cut the lawn short or keep it slightly longer?

In general, mowing high will allow the grass to shade its own roots and provide some insulation/heat protection for the roots. Mowing high also allows the grass the shade out weeds.
