what are the signs of overwatering on citrus fruit trees, and tomato plants?

When soil is saturated for long periods of time, oxygen is driven out and roots can suffocate. This usually shows up in wilting or yellow foliage, and eventually stem collapse in tomato plants. Citrus trees will drop foliage and fruits if they're overwatered.
