| As with any tree or shrub, you would cut it down at ground level, then take steps to remove the roots. You might be able to cut it down yourself, but if it is tree-size then for safety it would be better to have a tree service remove it for you. You could grub out the roots by hand if it is relatively small, or you may need to have it ground down, or if you are handy you could rent a grinder and do that yourself. |
