WHAT CAN BE DONE TO KEEP SQUIRELLS FROM DIGGING UP PLANTS IN THE GARDEN

Squirrels can be difficult to deal with in the garden. You might have success using one of the spray on or granular repellents labeled for squirrels. Some gardeners report sprinkling blood meal around the plants can help, or using a pepper wax spray. Another suggestion is to insert some small sticks upright between the plants, or to cover the soil with wire mesh. Good luck!
