I need to fix my lawn. I moved here a year ago from Georgia and I need lots of help fixing my yard. I am looking at the grasses in my area and I would like a grass that looks good all year around. I have a watering system that works great.

In your warm summer region, I'd recommend using Bermuda grass and overseeding with perennial ryegrass. Here's why: Bermuda grass loves heat and when the weather cools in the autumn, Bermuda will turn brown. Ryegrass likes cool weather but when it gets hot, ryegrass will die out. So, planting both will give you a green lawn nearly all year around.

Best wishes with your landscape!
